scholarships and financial aidare awarded only after completing all necassary forms and documents. All financial aid questions should be addressed to the financial aid department not the theatre department. Only contact the theatre department to set up an audition.
All monies are rewarded on a first-come, first-serve basis. Once a student’s file is complete, then an award letter will be processed. Auditions and Financial Aid should be complete by March 15th in order considered for priority processing.

6 easy steps to financial aid
Financial Aid should be targeted to be completed as early as possible, preferably by March 1st of the previous year. These forms require Adobe Reader®. Adobe Reader is available free of charge from Adobe. You may download it here.
Step 1:
Complete a formal application to TVCC and complete a residency form
mail to:
Registrar's Office, Trinity Valley Community College, 100 Cardinal Drive, Athens, TX 75751
Step 2:
Contact your high school counselor and/or any other college or university that you have gained credit from and mail a current transcript to the registrar at the above address.
Step 3:
Complete the Free Applications for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) online (do NOT complete this as a paper process and mail)
Step 4:Download the following documents complete them and fax or mail them to the financial aid office:

TVCC Financial Aid Acknowledgment Form
TVCC Work Study Application
TVCC Texas Grant Application
TVCC Texas Grant Additional Information Form
TVCC Scholarship Application

Step 5:
Complete TVCC Theatre Department Scholarship Application
mail or fax them to:

Step 6:
Complete an audition with the department.
