Earn College Credit

TVCC is proud to be the only camp in Texas of its kind that offers college credit to students for their camp experience.

Campers learning breathing techniques in acting class- Summer 2004 All incoming High School Juniors, Seniors, and College Freshman will receive college credit if they meet the following Criteria..

To qualify you must be a incoming 11-12 grade high school student who has taken the THEA or is exempt from the THEA from high scores on the SAT,ACT,or TAKS tests.

Campers must provide a copy of their SAT, ACT or TAKS scores to claim exemption.

TVCC offers student the opportunity to take the THEA the morning of registration. There is an additional fee. The camp director must know if a camper is arriving early to take the test.

    College Credit in 4 easy steps...

    1. Take the THEA or have proper documentation to show your exemption before July 9th.

    2.Download, Fill out, and return both the TVCC Application as well as the Residency Form

    3.Apply online and choose the college course of your choice.

    4. Return the concurrent HS Enrollment form that will be mailed to you once your deposit is recieved and return the form to TVCC.
