Mark Pickell This is Mark's sixth year to direct at summer drama workshop. His previous productions at Summer Drama Workshop have included Romeo and Juliet , The Good Person of Setzuan, La Dispute , Rhinoceros, and Machinal. He taught for five years at Hempstead High School where in One-Act Play competition he has advanced to the Regional level 4 out of the 5 years. He placed 2nd in AAA at state in 2003 with his production of The Servant of Two Masters. He returned to state in 2004 with Big Love. . He is a graduate of Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas with a BFA with honors in theatre where he interned with the Royal Shakespeare Company while studying abroad. He has acted and directed professionally both in Houston and Austin. He is currently the artistic director for Capital T Theatre in Austin, Texas.
